The IBBM Financial Services Industry Careers 2011 (IBBM FSI Careers 2011) is the first financial services industry career fair in Malaysia. It feature over 30 financial institutions and serves as an excellent platform to facilitate face-to-face interaction between jobseekers and hiring companies alike. OSKIC 2011

The OSK Investment Challenge (OSKIC) is OSK Investment Bank's CSR initiative to educate campus students nationwide about the capital market. OSKIC is begin from 4 to 28 October 2011. A trial period for 2 weeks was conducted from 19 to 30 September 2011. Students who register for OSKIC will be given RM100,000 in virtual money to trade online based on actual real time stock prices, as the competition is an actual simulation of Bursa Malaysia.

2nd Annual Great Meeting

• Agenda of meeting – the agenda of this meeting is to make a new selection for a top management of Investment Youth Club and discuss about incoming activities. As a result, many of fresh student have been selected in this meeting to run the club. 
• incoming activities: Talk, Booth for opening CDS account,preparation for PNB Kuiz, BNM visits, Skytrek and IYCs bowling Cup.

i will retired from the club and past to the young generation for continued o make the IYC club acknowledge by entire MSU. don't worry, i still here to help my junior if have problem with study. dun feel hesitate to ask me and when come for the last moment, i've realize many new face that join the club. i feel happy for that. hope u all will give commitment to the club. ur support very important to bring the club to the peak.

there's a lot of activities i wanna do with the club, but my time won't let me to do so.. i hope the new president will full fill all the emptiness in the club. i believe he or she will run the club more better than me....

so, i hope the new president will update this blog and make me proud...don't let the club died.....

IYC went SC.......

      This time we all went to SC (Security Commission) to explore and studied in more technically. We always heard about SC and just imagine it,but this time IYC brings them to SC to showed them what is actual SC does. SC established on 1 March 1993 under the Securities Commission Act 1993, the SC is a self-funding statutory body with investigative and enforcement powers. It reports to the Minister of Finance and its accounts are tabled in Parliament annually. The SC's many regulatory functions include:
Supervising exchanges, clearing houses and central depositories;

 *Registering authority for prospectuses of corporations other than unlisted recreational clubs;
 *Approving authority for corporate bond issues;
 *Regulating all matters relating to securities and futures contracts;
 *Regulating the take-over and mergers of companies
 *Regulating all matters relating to unit trust schemes;
 *Licensing and supervising all licensed persons;
 *Encouraging self-regulation; and
 *Ensuring proper conduct of market institutions and licensed persons.

Underpinning all these functions is the SC's ultimate responsibility of protecting the investor. Apart from discharging its regulatory functions, the SC is also obliged by statute to encourage and promote the development of the securities and futures markets in Malaysia.

IYC members assemble at MSU at 7.30 am, but some members were late...hahaha.... but we all have a good time being together. I'm proud because most of members attended the trip. anyway, thnx to organizer, me, sophia, chong, fakhrul and mdm loges.... just enjoy our teenager time...
